Later today

My mind often races past the present and into later.  Throughout my life, I’ve always had a hard time relaxing if there was something pending that day.  In high school, if we had a late practice, it was tough for me to enjoy a meal out.  At work, if there’s a big meeting later in the day, my attention is typically on that until it is through.  This gets in the way of productive thought.  To look from a distance, a minute prior to an event, is no different than a minute after.  It’s still 60 seconds.
