Masters in service

I was lucky enough to win Monday practice round tickets for The Masters this year.  What a great experience!  The Masters have “mastered” customer service and hospitality.  With thousands of people attending the event each day, the bathrooms were immaculate, the concession queues were always moving, and all staff members were constantly welcoming the patrons.

Though there was rain, I did not see a frowning fan.  Everyone felt welcome.  Though I’m sure Augusta spends more than necessary for their customer experience, this increased spending makes the event a bucket list item for many around the world.  All businesses could learn a lesson from The Masters in increasing their event day presentation.
